One of the best places to eat with the locals in Leicester. The price is good. When I visit Leicester I come here every time because I know I'm going to get a good meal and be around friendly people. The food is so delicious. I always have the English Breakfast. If your vegetarian or vegan you can get that here. The staff are nice . They make sure your meal is properly done.I will try something else on their menu the next time I go here.

Recommended by a friend so I turned up here at on a Sunday morning. The staff were chatty and welcoming. I knew what I wanted so I ordered at the counter and sat at a table. My drinks turned up promptly and the food took around mins. Bright spacious and starting to get busy but still quiet. The food was really good and it did not taste like it had been on a hot plate. I will be coming here again and highly recommend to anyone wanting a good breakfast at a reasonable price.

Very nice!I ordered a large breakfast, my wife ordered a cheese and ham toastie and we had cheesy chips to share with an Americana and a Pepsi max. £. The sausages were like chipshop sausages, very tasty. Thick quality bacon. Fried eggs cooked to perfection. Toast perfect. Fried mushrooms were a little greasy but it is a fry up! The toilets were clean and tidy, the staff were on the ball. Clean tables, good service. The restaurant layout is standard but tidy. One thing I really didn't like was the front windows. Covered in condensation. It's always like this and makes me feel claustrophobic. Also, from the outside it gives an unappealing look. Personally I'd get this sorted ASAP. Other than that, I LIKE!

With so many places to eat in Leicester it would have been easy to walk past the humble exterior of the Silver Street Cafe, but I'm so glad we didn't. This place should be famous, it way exceeded my expectations! I popped in early Sunday afternoon with my wife and son, mainly because I thought it looked cheap from the outside. The food was absolutely bang on. My wife and I had a full English breakfast, I went for the King Richard, she had a medium. My son opted for a cheeseburger n chips. Honestly the best value breakfast I've ever had. Not only tasty but literally king size. When the food arrived, quickly I might add, all three plates were way bigger than I was expecting. Amazing value. The King Richard breakfast is a real challenge to finish, it's enormous. The staff were also very friendly and helpful. The service was excellent.
